How do you sell stuff to the thieves guild on oblivion?

Go up and talk to someone in the market district. at the bottom ther is three little boxes. one of them will kind of look like the recycling logo with the two swirling arrows. click on it. from there you can buy and sell, but ONLY with people who own a shop. I barter with the jewler guy a lot. hope this was helpful.
