What is sanctions?

A sanction is a kind of penalty assessed against an entity for breaking the

agreed upon rules. Such as Iran agreeing no to go nuclear but decides to do it anyway. So the US is leading other countries imposing sanctions such as not exporting something they need or want. Castro in Cuba had sanctions imposed, like not being allowed to export Cuban cigars. The U.S. is against their form of government which is socialist.

With China it was different, when they violated human rights, they also

loaned the U.S. money and were instrumental in getting lots of cheraply made goods imported to the U.S. They are communist, which is now ok with the

New Right, which spends like the far left, controls its citizens like the far right,

and has a private army to do its bidding. So China gets no sanctions.
