NO. Vaseline will cause it to fade prematurely, as will petroleum jelly.

It would be best to use a unscented lotion (Fragrance Free).

Lubriderm is what I have always used.

A&D ointment has always worked well too. Try and steer away from using Triple Anti-biotics and such.
