How did urban renewal fail?

Urban renewal failed when the decepticons began to take over the city using monopoles. Due to this fact many Americans did now want to become enslaved by them. The decepticons have no means in enslaving country folk yet and we aresafe today becauseof the new government agencies that are keeping thisunder wraps. This also caused a huge increase in suburbanization in the 1950s. Since we have agreed to work as human slave laborersin the year 3062, our children will have to bear this terrible burdon while in our lifetime we will life free and can hold off the war between the autobots and decepticons until then.
