When was collosium built?

The Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, was commissioned by Emperor Vespasian of the Flavian dynasty and construction began in AD 72. It was completed in AD 80 under his successor and heir, Emperor Titus. The structure was later modified by Emperor Domitian, making it fully operational by the end of the 1st century AD.
