What happened to the ocean ranger?

It sank in a storm. Large waves broke a window (portlight) which allowed water to flood one of the legs. The water also disabled the ballast controls so they were unable to control the amount of water in each leg. Everybody was killed, none of the 84 people on board were able to escape, except to the sea to die.
