Sam Simpson was Australia's only male athlete in gymnastics at the 2008 Games. The women's team consisted of Georgia Bonora, Shona Morgan, Ashleigh Brennan, Dasha Joura, Lauren Mitchell, and Olivia Vivian. The women's team finished 6th in team all around. The best individual finish was a 13th place by Georgia Bonora in women's individual all around.
