What is an example of patriotism?

Patriotism is the abstract feeling of love for your country. For example, someone who is "patriotic" will unhesitatingly volunteer to join the army whenever there is an attack on their country or a war going on. Although, it may be as simple as just buying things made in your own country so your country will grow faster.
