How has e-commerce changed the way people buy goods because of convenience?

Many online E-commerce businesses offer discounts, special offers and free delivery to get you to shop online because it saves the company money as they don't have to employ more people but then again it dosent offer employment to those who don't work or don't have qualifications. You don't have to queue behind people and you don't have to carry your shopping and this limits you to how much you can carry for example, your favourite shop has a sale which you didn't know about and you cant buy everything you want because you cant carry it, online you have a basket where you can place your things and check out later and you don't have to carry a thing.
