How can one recover files that were accidentally deleted from one's hard drive?

Go to the "Recycle Bin" find the name of the file, click on it, and hit reopen.

Though if you've deleted it a second time, from 'Recycle' (what a silly name!) you'd need recovery software to find it before it's over-written.
