How will you know if one is truly in love with you?

they will sit you down, and say

"i am truly in love with you"

then you will know

He gives you a birthday present so beautifully thought full and says to you ''I didn't know what to get you, I kept it simple". When he stares at you when he thinks your not looking with these admiring eyes and a hint of smile playing on his lips. When he does everything in his power just to spend time with you. when he is at a lost for Words when he first sees you. When you sitting next to him and he purposefully places his hand next to yours and moves it closer to your hand little by little. And most importantly, when he accepts you for who you are with open and loving arms. that when you know he honestly and truly loves you. Although he may not realize this for some time, just know he loves you. Just give him the chance and time to realize it for himself.

If someone is truly in love with you they will be there for you through the good times and the bad. They love you for everything that you are, from the inside out, and they accept your flaws and/or shortcomings. They want you to be happy and they will usually put the one they love even before themselves. They could never, would never, cheat on you and, in fact, don't even have any interest is anyone else. True love is not critical or accusational. If someone truly loves you they will not try to change you because they really love the person that you already are. I guess one might try to help you by maybe pointing out, in a nice way, something you are doing that is not positive for you, but it would never be or shouldn't be in a critical manner. If someone truly loves you that love will stand the test of time. They will love you just the same if you are separated for long periods of time - they will not look for someone to replace you just because you are separated. They will love you and support you during the most difficult times and will WANT to be there to help you through any difficult times. True love is respectful and thoughtful. They will do special things for you - even the smallest of things that do not cost any money at all can mean the most to a loved one. They will never be abusive to you, put you down, embarrass you in front of others. They will not complain and find fault with everything that you do. It is a special kind of love - a strong kind of love. Time is a good test of true love.
