Can a police report of domestic violence be amended if the court changed it to disorderly conduct?

A police report is not amended. The officer's report remains as it was when the officer filled it out. Now the charges themselves might be amended by the prosecutor's office or the judge, after hearing the evidence can find that what happened constitutes a lesser included offense.
