Can fingernails lodged in the throat be dangerous?

They sure can, I myself once had a horrific experience involving the nail on my index finger becoming firmly lodged within my throat. Hopefully such an awful fate will never again befall upon innocent souls. In fact my school has banned fingernails as well as teeth as they believe that they are too dangerous for minors to handle. Every year my neighbourhood gets together to raise awareness for fingernail related injuries and also to honour the deaths of the 0.08 people who die each year average due to fingernail related incidents. If you or anyone you know has a fingernail lodged within their throat the best thing to do is get medical help as soon as possible.
