If someone slaps you in the face at school could you sue them?

Depends on a lot of factors and who saw it, any lasting damage, witnesses etc. A slap, although painful at the time, is not usually grounds for a law case. You may be able to ask the Police if they will prosecute on your behalf, but again it is very unlikely.
