How much money does a gamer make?

Not enough.

All these ads and "testimonials" of having a good career in the gaming field are entirely misleading, unfortunately.

Many will tell you otherwise, but just ask for the paycheck of a gamer, and they'll humble down instantly.

However...

There is a decent income availability in graphics design... but you have to be good.

Programmers are decently paid too... if they're good.

I recommend getting a full time office-type job, living by yourself, and being debt free.

That way, you have plenty of time to enjoy gaming. :)
