What is a disease which cells grow and divide?

Cancer is a disease characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and division. In cancer, the normal regulatory mechanisms that control the cell cycle malfunction, leading to the formation of tumors and the potential spread of cancerous cells to other parts of the body.
