When is Plants vs Zombies 2 being released?

The creators haven't really said much, or released anything about it after Plants Vs. Zombies was already released.

• The release date of the next Plants versus Zombies is scheduled between 2011 and 2020. That came from John Vechey, a cofounder of Popcap - the studio that developed the game.

  Popcap's said "nothing" about it coming out in this year. (2012) Nothing really seemed "new" lately. But hope they release it soon.
