Do people that use voodoo believe in the supernatural?

By Definition Voodoo deals with powers that be- beyond normal reality and thus would be classed as a Supernatural belief system or a primitive religion. Voodoo has elements of sympathetic magic- such as Voodoo dolls and related object and the morbid angle comes in with curses and the Zombie or Zombi complex, lit the ghost that walks. The comic-strip character, the Phantom, seemed to have an African genesis and his super-powers in part depended upon something like Voodoo, unlike the psychic hypno-magic of The Shadow. The Phantom wore a tight-fitting costume with a sort of flight-helmet all of purple color. Purple is associated with both royalty, and morbid passion.
