What is Motorcycle club charter?

a charter to a MC is like the same club but in a different part of the country or on a completely different country but still remains in the brotherhood or big picture of the club itself. Most of the time a larger scale MC is usually spread around a good bit of area take the hells angels for instance...

yea there are a majority of members in California but there are also members in France, Germany and Holland. so simply if you've ever seen a outlaw MC's cut(vest), you would notice that the top rocker would have the name of the MC. then there would be a large picture of something that represents the club significantly, and then the bottom rocker will have the name of the charter. such as California or South Carolina or France.
