Who is more efficient human or technology?

This depends on a number of variables: what process are you asking about, how long will you be measuring the relative efficiencies and what technology are you asking about?

If you are asking if it is more efficient for a human to build a car or for machines (robots) to build a car, the robots are much more efficient. However, this is over a large scale production that can absorb the initial efficiency loss in terms of designing, building and testing the robots.

If you are asking about theoretical projections, humans are much more efficient. Our current state of technology (as of 2012) does not allow for technology to imagine the various futures or possibilities. Humans are also much more efficient at facial recognition, determining patterns and sifting through data for pertinent information.
