Military money is intended for use by military personnel of the country of issue whilst serving on foreign soil. It usually has a relatively short life span before being replaced by notes of a different colour and/or design so that the "enemy" and others cannot accumulate quantities of it or forge it to take advantage of, or undermine the home currency.
