What is the hourly pay for a lifeguard?

It all depends on the state you are employed (minimum wage is affected by the state of employment) and the number of years you have been working. I am a third-year lifeguard, and I make $8.05/hour. When I first started out, I was making $6.60/hour, but that was before minimum wage went up in the state of Illinois. Depending on these factors, my guess is that you would end up making $7.00/hour to $8.50/hour.
