How does roman language influence us today?

Many Words in law, medicine, science and theology are Latin.

Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese and Romanian are Romance languages; that is, languages derived from Latin.

The English language has been influenced by Latin in two main ways: a) Latin was the language of the elites and the church in the Middle ages. Some Latin Words became part of the English language through this; b) England was conquered by the Normans from France. French became the court language. Through this, French Words, which have their roots in Latin, entered the English language.
