Could you spot for one day and have what seems to be your period when its two and a half weeks late could you still be pregnant?

you normally don't have your period (bright red, and follows the light, heavy, light pattern) but in early pregnancy women will have light brown/pink spotting during the time there period is due and unless they are trying to get pregnant, they don't always think anything of it, except that it is a little lighter this month.
