For centuries, if you realize that many Mexicans had lived in the Four Corners regions, North into the Ute Pass Area, and had been involved in commerce on a routine basis to the Aztec Capital in current day Mexico. La Raza or the Race is not a myth, its existence is real, important and an un-understood part of North American History. Texas, New Mexico, California, Arrizona, parts of Utah and half of Colorado have Mexican origins and Mexican roots. Predjudice, the Removal Acts, the complete urge for Manifest Destiny and the need for a commercial route via Santa Fe to the West Coast. The Texas-American revolution divided the US because of the slave issue. The Mexican American war was a grave injustice. That injustice encourages blatant border violations.
