In the seventh book of the house of night series did zoey die or is she just in a coma?

The seventh book in the House of Night series isn't out until 2010. But the sixth book tempted in the end she sorta did die she went to the other world when kalona killed Heath (Snapping his neck) Zoey through like an elemental ball at Kalona and he went over the edge than she fell to the ground and all her tattos went away!!
