What new information does Annabeth tell us about her father in this chapter?

In the Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan? The Lightning Theif? Okay, I'm assuming so. Annabeth is a demigod kid of Athena, right? So monsters find her and try to kill her for reason all their own. Her dad got freaked and was all like, "Annabeth, you're a weirdo! Don't you dare hurt anybody by bringing monsters here!" Also, her stepmom had 2 kids and didn't want them hurt. So Annabeth ran away because they were mean to her.
