o this is easy i got mine pulled out too! But watch out what you eat. That day i only ate twice and that was soup and spahetti (about enough to fit a palm),clue is here is that i swallowed, didn't chew.Don't trie anything cold or too hot .Once your bleeding stops its okay to eat.But just in cause, i recemend you don't eat til three hours after surgery. My opointment was a 7:30 i couldn't eat after 12:00 the day before but i fell asleep at 9:00 so i didn't eat til 9:54 the day of the appointment surgery last an hour and a half .i didn't eat cause i was bleeding ,in pain, discomfort and plus i had an iv so it lasted me longer. And i hope you feel better afterward.
The worst part, where you can barely even swallow liquids, and you can't smoke cigarettes, lasts at least a couple of days. The bottom teeth are definitely the worst. If and when you have the upper ones removed, it'll be a lot easier. I actually went out to a concert and danced the same night. Well, only a little bit. But, anyway, when I had the bottom one removed (just one) I really couldn't eat anything for 2 days -- I couldn't move for 2 days -- and I couldn't even begin to chew properly for like, a week. So if you've had both removed...you might not be able to eat anything solid for 3 or 4 days. There's not much you can do, except keep using ice and keep changing the bloody gauze. And pain pills. Lots of pain pills. I just hope the last wisdom tooth I have stays deeply embedded, because I just can't stand the thought of going through it again.
Also...even when you can eat again, it's still really painful. You can only chew very gently and slowly, and it still hurts anyway, and then you'll accidentally chew wrong, and hit the extraction site, and it then it really, really hurts. I'm sorry.
