Why do people not like rain?

rain is a natural blessing from God,however because of the following reasons people don't like it. it causes disasters like Floods,land slides among others which claim lives,destroy property.the destruction of property leads to hunger,turns people homeless,etc. 2:in most african countries with poor roads mud is a dislike to alot of people including me.3:It disrupts peoples' work especially those operating from out side leading to losses.
