What is a CCID on a creditcard?

"CCID" is a Credit Card I.D. (identification) number. It's on

the back of your Visa or MasterCard, above your signature.

It's an "extra" 3-digit number that is shown after the last

four digits of your card/account number. (Not after the

*entire* card number- the card shows the last 4, then

the I.D.)

Discover cards don't show them.
