What do god moms do?

"God mom" or God Mother, is the female who has agreed to replace your parents should anything happen to them and to oversee your spiritual education. THis is an old tradition in the Catholic church, though there are some arguments that it goes back further than that. (The Church has always been good at "appropriating" the traditions of other cultures and slapping new labels on them).
