What charges a battery in a motorcycle when the motor is running?

It's called a stator

EDIT: Bikes have Alternators, or, Generators, just like cars. Alternators are usually inside the timing cover and not easily visible, like on a car. Older bikes may have a very visible little 6-volt generator on a vee-belt.
