Facts about the flying dragon

The flying dragon, or Draco volans, is a species of lizard found primarily in Southeast Asia. It is known for its ability to glide using elongated ribs that extend its neck flap, which acts like a parachute. These lizards can glide distances of up to 10 meters (about 33 feet) from tree to tree. Their diet primarily consists of ants and termites, and they are often found in forested environments, where they use their gliding ability to escape predators.
