Why does Macbeth not tell lady Macbeth about banquos upcoming murder?

Macbeth, once he has become a murderer, no longer needs the support of Lady Macbeth to continue killing. He will kill anyone who is a threat to him, and tell her later. He has already set the pattern for this by killing the grooms without discussing it with her beforehand.
