How do you change number plate light on transit 55 plate?

The number plate lamp is a complete sealed unit and needs to be replace as such , you cannot just change the bulb.

Unplug the unit behind the panel on the rear door and simply push the number plate unit free. Push a new unit ( available on e bay Approx £7.) into position and plug back in.
