96 gmc jimmy rough idle flutters and putt putts when driving. I have changed- fuel filter dis cap and router plugs and wires tryed used egr valve checked cat converter please help?

Bad cylinder?

Do a compression test. perhaps lack of compression in one cylinder due to a bad valve or piston.

Does the check engine light come on? If so, have the codes read, they may lead you to the cause.
