Why did the monster hate his creator in Paradise Lost?

The monster hates his creator because Dr. Frankenstien gives him life but offers him no help in how to live. His horrific appearance forces him to live in hiding and for all his attempts at goodness and kindness to be rebuked and mistrusted. Whereas Dr. Frankenstien strives to know the secret to creating life, he refuses to take responsbility for any of his actions.
