To bleed the brakes on a PT Cruiser, start by ensuring the brake fluid reservoir is filled to the proper level. Have an assistant pump the brake pedal several times and then hold it down. Begin at the furthest brake from the master cylinder (usually the rear passenger side), loosening the bleeder valve while your assistant holds the pedal down; close the valve before they release the pedal. Repeat this process for each brake, moving closer to the master cylinder, and keep an eye on the fluid level throughout to avoid introducing air into the system.
