Did a girl fall out of watterson tower at isu in 1984 and live?

This is true. Not certain of the exact year. She jumped or fell (that is still disputed) and hit a tree on the way down and lived. I know this story from a local (my husband) and his father a Normal police officer at the time. A man jumped in 1994/1993 as witness by myself and did not live. I still remember his name something Trost.
