This really depends on your own personal preference. If you are not planning to spend a lot of time in your cabin, and want the best value for your buck - an inside cabin is perfect for you. However if you want to actually see the light of day, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg, why not condiser an oceanview cabin? These often feature a port hole or picture window. If you're planning to spend quite a bit of time in your cabin and really want to relax - a balcony, mini-suite or suite may be the stateroom for you. And, if money is no object and you're really looking to live the high life - check out the villas and penthouses. They are extravagant and often come with Concierge and Butler service! As far as where in the vessel you will find the best accommodations - midships and on a higher deck is always preferred. Also, try to avoid cabins near elevator landings, crew service doors and all the way forward (where the motion of the ocean may make you sick at night). Happy sailing!!
