What is the purpose of baling machine?

Baling machines (balers for short) satisfy the need for efficient handling of waste material in several key ways:

• For starters, balers take large quantities of recyclable material (say, plastic bottles or cardboard or similar) and make them smaller. This makes recyclable materials easier to handle, store, and transport.
• Balers help companies comply with local recycling regulations - many localities have laws regarding the disposal of large-scale recyclables. In other Words, large bags of cans and bottles will not do. Nor will pickup truck loads of cardboard.
• Besides being good for the environment, baling machines make recycling more profitable. The speed and ease in which waste can be compressed into a manageable form makes every aspect of disposal more efficient (and thus, more friendly to the bottom line.)

Types of Baling Machines

There are generally two different types of baling machines that are used by industry - horizontal baling machines, and vertical baling machines. The basic difference between these two types of balers is how the recyclable material is compacted.

Vertical balers are loaded from the front, are usually manually operated, and compress from the top down. They are best suited for smaller manufacturers, retail stores, supermarkets, textile manufacturers, or anywhere else there are smaller quantities of recyclable materials.

Horizontal balersare loaded from the top by conveyor belt or forklift (allowing for larger quantities), compress from the side, and are usually fully automatic. They are ideal for larger quantities of recyclables, and can reach an output that exceeds 60 tons an hour.
