What were the miracles that Saint Patrick performed?

Although it is certain Patrick existed, the miracles ascribed to him may be the result of hagiographers rather than fact. According to the Catholic Encylcopedia of 1913, the following are miracles associated with Patrick: (a) He calmed a storm (b) When a chieftan, Dichu, raised his sWord to kill Patrick, his arm became rigid (c) He lit a Christian fire on a druidic site, and the druids were unable to extinquish it by any means. (d) He scattered a dark cloud which the druids were powerless to remove (e) He healed the sick and raised the dead to life in Limerick
