What does informed choice mean?

It means that the person fully understands all the arguments before making a choice.

If you vote for candidate A because - having read up on both - you think his policies are better than those of candidate B, then you're making an informed choice

If I vote for candidate A because I think he's better lookingthan candidate B then that's not an informed choice.
