Why is comics important?

Comics are important in the same vain as Comedy. Both provide a strong message to their intended audience in order to inform them without scaring them. While comedy focuses on making you laugh, comics focuses on creating a relate-able / entertaining character to convey the message within the story. Though most comic books stopped conveying a message within their stories to focus more on action/fantasy, Marvel Moon Knight comics have always provided important messages within his comics since 1979 (though there's a small gap from 1989-1998).
