High school classes don't play an important role in you becoming a physical therapist. However, if psychology and medical terminology or any type of pre-professional class is offered, I would DEFINITELY take that. The more behavioral and science classes, the better. But, like I said, they are not required. Unless you want to take some of your basic college courses early, you can take an AP level class offered at your school. The AP class will offer you a placement test to determine if you are exempt from that class or not. You pay for your books and tests as you would if you were a college student. Starting early with AP courses in high school and having an Excellent GPA, you can actually apply to take general college level courses during the summer in between your high school years and graduate even earlier.
