Is lamictal a narcotic

(I am not a doctor) I have been taking 300mgs of Lamictal once a day for 10 years due to a seizure disorder and to my knowledge it is most definitely not a narcotic. As with all prescription drugs, it is of course a "controlled substance".

It is considered a narcotic by Japan and if you travel to Japan you need a special license to carry it into Japan. Even if it is only for your own personal use.
