Does mob justice do more good than harm?

For a certainty, mob justice is no justice at all. There was an incident where thieves robbed someone and ran. The person they robbed ran and took their belongings back from the robbers. The custom is to scream: " thief, thief", if you are being robbed. Unfortunately, the robbers reversed this rule. The robbers screamed thief and a crowd of people surrounded the innocent one and killed him immediately. In their minds they thought they were killing a thief. With that being said, it is better, for the most part, to leave these matters to the courts. Even then, we hope that any accused person is treated fairly. Too many innocent people have been incarcerated or executed/murdered in the name of justice.
