If you currently have a 2.45 GPA you'd have to earn .20 points to reach your 2.65 GPA.

Let's assume you take 4 classes (each at 3 credit hours) and score two A's, one B, and one C.

A's = 4.0

B's = 3.0

C's = 2.0

4.0 + 4.0 + 3.0 + 2.0 = 13.00 ÷ 4 = 3.25

3.25 + 2.45 = 5.70 ÷ 2 = 2.85 GPA. Surpassing your goal.

Now let's change the scenario and say you get one A, two B's and one C.

4.0 + 3.0 + 3.0 + 2.0 = 12.00 ÷ 4 = 3.00

3.00 + 2.45 = 5.45 ÷ 2 = 2.725 (2.73) GPA. Still surpassing your goal.

Finally let's change the scenario one last time and say you get no A's, one B, and three C's.

3.0 + 2.0 + 2.0 + 2.0 = 9.00 ÷ 4 = 2.25

2.25 + 2.45 = 4.70 ÷ 2 = 2.35, you'd actually lower your GPA.

So the conclusion is, If you were to take 4 classes at 3 credit hours and atleast an A, two or three B's or one or no C's, you'd achieve your GPA of 2.65.
