Where Proteas are grown?

Proteas are primarily grown in South Africa, particularly in the Cape Floral Kingdom, which is known for its rich biodiversity and unique plant species. They thrive in well-drained, sandy soils and are adapted to the region's Mediterranean climate, characterized by wet winters and dry summers. Outside of South Africa, proteas are also cultivated in countries like Australia, New Zealand, and parts of California for ornamental purposes due to their striking flowers.
