What does it mean when your boyfriend says he wants to be single?

I hate to say it, but it means he doesn't really like you. Men still have those cavemen instincts--when they want something, they go after it, and there ain't nothin that's gonna get in his way lol. I'm sure he does like you to a point, but if he were really into you, he'd never take a risk that you might find someone else and say that he wants to be single.

My advice is to find someone else. You sound like a fabulous girl, and trust me, there are plenty of fish in the sea and there is a guy out there who will be sooooo into you he'd never wanna leave your side for a second, much less say he wants to be single and risk watchin you walk out the door for good. I know it hurts to hear it, but if he really was into you he would not be saying that.
